EDINBURGH PREVIEWS!

Shooing away the Wasp of Comedy this week:

Image MC Red Redmond introduces...

SEYMOUR MACE: SEYMOURLAND

Image
Imagine a place where all your wildest dreams come true. Now forget that place and imagine another place where a happy idiot in a pink frilly shirt gathers a few friendly odd balls and tries to have as much fun as can be managed in an hour and five minutes, just to squeeze out that last little bit of enjoyment.

So come on down, get on up and join on in for the chance to win some fabulous prizes just by playing games where it helps to be a spaced out loony. Seymourland. Being stupid is what we do best.

PLUS!

ROB ROUSE: THE GREAT ESCAPE
Image
Star of 8 out of 10 Cats, Friday Night Project and Spoons, Rob's triumphant return to Edinburgh last year won him fantastic critical acclaim. A sell-out festival run took his trademark comedic storytelling to a career high, followed by a national tour. This year Rob is knuckling down. Girlfriend, toddler, dog? Check! However, you can't live off high spirits and adrenaline forever, the honeymoon's over. Now the hard bit; sorting himself out.

Plus!

Sarah Bridgeman and Adam Henderson.

The Ape & Apple, 28 John Dalton St, Manchester, M2 6HQ - just off Albert Square

NOTE: THIS NIGHT IS STARTING AT 8:15pm ON THE DOT.

Not 8:20pm. Not 8:16pm.

8:15pm.

If you are coming to watch this show please be there for 8:10pm and not turn up at 10pm in the hope that Rob Rouse will be on second (I don't know when he's on yet).

People who come to this hoping to just see Rob Rouse are very wrong indeed.

Brilliant night all round. Room full, plus standing, excellent comics - in particular Rob Rouse. What a show. Seymour's show was the perfect way to get the audience warmed up and interacting before that. Great stuff.
