That was a fun night. Ruth had one of the best opening gigs I've seen at M.O.M. in quite some time (Including mine... Bitch.) and Duncan was on fine, fine form throwing out some favourites as well as some stuff I'd never seen before. Lovdev had a bit of a mixed night, some lines received well and some not so well. Closing on two new gags and announcing them as such was not the wisest of choices though. Colin Manford stepped in for George at the last minute and had a solid run through of some new stuff.

A grand night and Des was on great form as MC.

i appreciate the honesty it was on and off i think i rushed it a bit i was really nervous it was my first gig after a few weeks away off sick, next time i wont ask the audience or tell them its a new gag just carry on as normal there is one or two that i do need to get rid off in my set, would love to come back some time again and have another bash thanks for having me Des.

tbh Lovdev I saw your set different to Chris.

Part of the appeal for me watching your set was your delivery and persona.
Not seen you perform before until last night and I enjoyed it very much.

You come across as deadpan but you have a friendliness in it.
I felt from the audience vibe they liked it too.

A typical audience at Mirth on Monday seem to drift in and out of acts routines as if they are thinking about something else before realising they at a Comedy gig and get back into it.

Sometimes they laugh at something they find funny and you didn't know it was actually rib tickling.

I think most of your jokes worked but because of your nature on stage they didn't belly laugh.

wicked des you cheered me up, yea love to come back i love manchester its a great city even better than brum i think just drop me another date mate and il be happy to do it or even bring another act with me.

I saw you a couple of years ago Lovdev and I enjoyed your style too.

This was great fun, I really enjoyed myself and all the acts!
